Hi. My name is Jen and this site is about my first Maine Coon cat. He is a six month old male brown tabby with high white. His pedigree name is "Maineflame Rain Dancer" and we are calling him "Ricky". You can read Ricky's Motto page to find out where his name came from.
I thought this site would be a bit of fun (and a bit of fun playing around setting it up)so I hope you enjoy it.

Ricky
Ricky was bred by "Maineflame Maine Coons" in Auckland, New Zealand. He was born on 27 October 2001. His father came from Sweden (*Ylletrollets)and his mother from Austraila (Coolcoons). He came to live with us on 17th May 2002 and is settling in well and getting used to being with 2 boys (Steve, 7 & Mike, 9) and a german shepherd dog named Ben. Ricky lived at Maineflame Maine Coons for the first 6 months of his life so it has been a bit of an adjustment for him coming to live in a new environment and leaving behind his playmate, a sister from his litter. Maine Coons are not that common in New Zealand (we have few breeders here) so this is our first experience of the Maine Coon breed.
